Fund Criteria
Landfill Communities Fund
Potential projects can be put forward by local authorities, environmental organisations, community groups and individuals. These must fall into one of the following categories:
Object A Covers the reclamation of land whose use has been prevented because of previous activity.
Object B Covers the reduction or prevention of pollution caused by previous activity.
Object D Covers providing and maintaining public amenities and parks.
Object DA Projects that are for the protection of the environment and the conservation/promotion of biological diversity on land or water.
Object E Covers restoring and repairing buildings that are for religious worship, or are of architectural or historic interest.
DUE TO CHANGES IN THE LANDFILL COMMUNITIES FUND THE BANKS COMMUNITY FUND CAN NO LONGER ACCESS FUNDS FOR PROJECTS IN THE OBJECT C/CC CATEGORY.
